4th Nine Weeks Pastor's Honor Roll

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL SCHOLARS

 

Ashlyn D. was a K4C student this year. For the fourth quarter Ashlyn finished the year being proficient in phonics, rhyming and blending sounds as well as number operations skip and rote counting and recognizing numerals. She has mastered reciting the Lord’s prayer and knows the appropriate time for the sign of the cross. Her art work was featured in the Celebrate the Arts show at the end of the school year. Ashlyn received an end of year certificate for completing her K3/K4 school year. She participated in a tap dance recital with Let’s Dance as well as a piano recital with B Major Piano Studio on June 1st.

Antonio E. finished his K5 school year and won the upcoming mathematician award. He was also a soloist at his K5 graduation.

ADE F. was a 5th grade student this year. He finished the 9 weeks making the A/B Honor Roll. He received a Chorus Award and "The Encouraging Award" because he encourages others to follow their dreams and to know that they are special. ADE finished his first AAU basketball season, where they won 1st and 2nd places in most of their tournaments for his age group. ADE is still volunteering and uplifting the community thru his Dragonfly Outreach Nonprofit and has a huge event coming up this Fall, "I Am Not Who They Say I Am". He has been promoted and will be a rising 6th grader.

Zahria G. was a 5th grade student in Royse City, TX. She made the A/B Honor Roll for the 2018-2019 school year. She was given the All-Star Attitude and the Most Likely To Cheer You Up Award.

Zayden G. received the academic perseverance Award as well as the Watch Me Grow in Reading Awards this year.

Milawn J. was a Kindergarten student this school year. For the 4th quarter, she mastered all indicators in Reading, Writing and Language, Communication, Science, Mathematics, Social Studies and Successful Learner Characteristics. She has been promoted to the first grade for the upcoming school year.

Ka’Myrah M. finished her 2nd grade year this year and has been promoted to the 3rd grade. She received a certificate for A/B Honor roll for the 2018-2019 school year and her teacher indicated that she participated well in class, demonstrated great effort and had a positive attitude. 

Amoni M. was a 4th grade student this school year. He was recognized for being on the All A Honor Roll and for receiving the highest Social Studies Grade this school year. He will be promoted to the 5th grade for the upcoming school year.

Leyla M. was a 4th grade student this year and received an Honor Roll Certificate for outstanding academic achievement for the 2018-2019 school year as well as a certificate of recognition for being on the District Five Elementary Honor Choir. She will be promoted to the 5th grade for the upcoming school year.

Yasir M. received the Honor Roll certificate for earning all A’s and B’s for the 2018-2019 school year. He also received a perfect attendance certificate for the year as well as the Highest Social Studies and Science award for his class as well a Student Council certificate for the 2018-2019 school year.

Shawn M. was on the A/B Honor for the 2018-2019 school year. He also received the Academic Success in Math and Science, the Eager Beaver award, School Council Member and Express Yourself Creative Expression Award. Shawn was the recipient of  the Math Achievement Award for pacing 2nd in the Math League Contest as well as a 5th grade certificate of completion for the 2018-2019 academic school year. He also sang on the All County Choir. Shawn will be promoted to the 6th grade for the upcoming school year.

Genesis M. received a writing and problem-solving improvement.

Laquatis M. received a Super Reader Award and Artist of the year award from his teachers and principal. He mastered every academic concept on his report card this school year. He is currently reading at Instructional Level G which means he is meeting grade level expectations.

Bryan P. received a Kindergarten completion of study. He is currently reading at instructional level A which means he is approaching grade level expectations. His teachers wrote that he is a great student who works hard and comes to school ready to learn. He has been promoted to the first grade for the 2019-2020 school year.

Darren R. was a 3rd grader this school year. This year, he received perfect attendance for the 4th quarter and was the only third grader to receive perfect attendance for the entire school year. Darren received an Amazing Music student award and was given the Outstanding Citizenship Award by his classmates. He also runs with the Track Club. He has been promoted to the 4th grade for the 2018-2019 school year.

Hermione R. was a 3rd grade student this school year. She received awards for perfect attendance for the 4th quarter, the Amazing Effort award, a South Carolina PTA Reflection trophy and a 3rd place special artist achievement certificate. She is also a member of the Track Club where she runs the 100m, 200m and the long jump.

Peyton R. received certificates for the honor of being on the Honor Roll for the as well as perfect attendance for the school year. Peyton has been promoted for the 2019-2020 school year.

Hazel T. completed her 3rd grade year and has been promoted to the 4th grade. Hazel earned the honor of being on the Honor Roll for the 4th nine weeks and her teacher noted that she was a joy to teach.

Athena T. received her kindergarten certificate at the end of this school year. Other awards received were 100% recognition of sight words, Rock Star Reader and the Awesome Author Award. She also received the Outstanding Music student and Perfect Attendance for the 2018-2019 school year. She has been promoted to the 1st grade.

MIDDLE SCHOOL SCHOLARS

Soheila F. finished her 7th grade year out not only making straight As for the 4th nine weeks, but for the entire year. For this honor, she has been named to the Principal’s Honor Roll. She also received awards for the Fitness Challenge, Student Council Representative and Future Business Leader of America. Soheila was blessed with making the basketball team. She was the captain of the team and started every game even though she was the only 7th grader. She also was recognized by Greenville County Schools with the MVP Middle School Athlete Award for Basketball for her team at the High School All Star Game. Soheila continues to serve the community by volunteering for the Beta Club as well as her mother and brother’s nonprofit organizations.

Anthony H. received the First Knight Award for the character trait Humility. Anthony looks forward to being on the A/B Honor Roll next year and is looking forward to playing football this fall. One of his favorite scriptures is I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Jahayla H. was an 8th grade student this school year. She received recognition for being on the A/B Honor Roll the entire school year. Other awards include a plaque for Outstanding Soprano on the Honors Choir and 2 medals in the 400 meter dash. Jahayla has been promoted to the 9th grade and will be taking all honors classes.

Brian W. completed his 8th grade year this school year. He received all A’s and B’s for the 4th quarter and was on the A/B Honor Roll and had perfect attendance for the entire 2018-2019 school year. Brian was recognized as the only student with the perfect attendance accomplishment for all three of his years in middle school. Brian was also recognized for attending and participating in Youth In Government all three of his middle school years. He has been promoted to the 9th grade.

COLLEGE SCHOLARS

Erin D. is a rising sophomore this school year. Her major is Business Administration with an Accounting concentration. She earned 15 credits and a 3.6 GPA for the Fall Semester and 15 credits and a 3.7 GPA for the Spring Semester this year. She was honored on the Dean’s List both semesters.

Tiquan L. received all A’s and B’s in his Business Administration major classes and received a 3.6 GPA for the semester.

Brittany W. finished the first semester with a 4.0 GPA was named to the President’s List and Dean’s List in recognition for academic achievement during the Fall 2018 and Spring 2019 semester at her college School of Nursing. She is a matriculating Junior and her academic accomplishments have earned her an additional LIFE scholarship.
